On September 4-6, hundreds of colleagues from across the Region will be at the Appalachian Regional Commission’s 2019 Annual Summit for two days of knowledge sharing and networking with a common commitment to Appalachia’s future. This year’s gathering, hosted by the State of North Carolina, will take place in Asheville – “the land of the sky”. The agenda will offer an array of panel discussions, mobile workshops, and plenary conversations, as well as learning tracks focusing on business and workforce development, infrastructure expansion, substance use disorder and related health issues, and ARC technical assistance.
